SPECIFIC SELECTION PREPARATION

PREPARE FOR BA, SO YOU CAN PERFORM AT YOUR BEST.

Airline-specific interview and simulator preparation for British Airways selection.

When you're competing for a place with British Airways, generic airline interview preparation isn't enough.

You need to understand the assessment process, know what you're likely to face and have the opportunity to practise before the day that matters.

THAT'S WHERE JET PILOT ACADEMY COMES IN.

Our British Airways Specific Preparation Programme is designed around the latest available candidate feedback, industry insight and experience of previous applicants.

We continually monitor feedback from candidates and industry contacts to build a detailed picture of the interview, technical and simulator assessment process, helping you prepare for the demands of BA selection with greater confidence.

KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT

DON'T WALK INTO YOUR BA ASSESSMENT COLD.

Over two intensive days, we'll take you through the key elements of the selection process and help you understand how to approach each stage.

INTERVIEW PREPARATION

We'll work with you on the areas that matter most, including:

  • HR and competency-based questions

  • Motivation and career questions

  • Technical questioning

  • Communication and presentation

  • Competency-based responses

  • Structuring and delivering strong answers

  • Understanding what assessors are looking for

  • Building confidence under interview pressure

We'll challenge your answers, identify weaknesses and help you turn good answers into great ones.

TECHNICAL PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND APPLICATION.

Technical assessments can be a significant part of the airline selection process.

We'll help you prepare for the types of technical questioning and assessment you may encounter, focusing on understanding rather than memorisation.

Our aim is to ensure that you can demonstrate your knowledge clearly, accurately and confidently when you're under pressure.

THEN WE TAKE IT TO THE FLIGHT DECK PRACTISE BEFORE YOU PERFORM.

The final part of your second day moves from the classroom into the Fixed Base Simulator.

Here you'll have the opportunity to practise the types of simulator exercises and flight-deck competencies that may be relevant to your BA assessment.

Where current candidate feedback and available information indicates particular profiles, procedures or areas of focus, we'll incorporate these into your preparation.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK ON:
FLIGHT DECK COMMUNICATION
Practise communicating clearly and effectively as part of a crew.

WORKLOAD MANAGEMENT
Learn to prioritise tasks and maintain control when workload increases.

SITUATIONAL AWARENESS
Develop the ability to maintain the bigger picture while managing the task in front of you.

DECISION-MAKING
Practise making sound decisions when faced with changing circumstances.

CRM & TEAMWORK
Demonstrate the behaviours expected of an effective flight crew member.

TECHNICAL & PROCEDURAL PERFORMANCE
Build familiarity and confidence within a realistic flight-deck environment.

WHY JPA?

REAL AVIATION EXPERIENCE. PRACTICAL PREPARATION.

Information about airline selection is constantly evolving.

That's why we don't rely solely on generic preparation material.

Our programme is informed by:

PREVIOUS CANDIDATE FEEDBACK

Real experiences from candidates who have recently been through selection help us understand how assessment processes are evolving.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Our aviation background provides an understanding of the standards, behaviours and competencies expected within a professional airline environment.

PRACTICAL SIMULATOR EXPERIENCE

You don't just talk about the simulator assessment.

You practise it.

YOUR COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KNOWING AND BEING READY.

You can read books.
You can watch videos.
You can practise interview questions.

But nothing replaces being challenged, making mistakes, receiving professional feedback and doing it again.

That's the JPA difference.

WE DON'T JUST PREPARE YOU FOR THE QUESTIONS.

WE PREPARE YOU FOR THE PRESSURE.
